Please join the Torrey Pines Gulls and the Academy of Model Aeronautics Foundation in celebrating model aviation for the third annual National Model Aviation Day. Over the last three years, AMA clubs have raised $176,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project. The project supports a full range of programs and services for this generation of injured veterans and their families.
TPG will celebrate Model Aviation Day as part of our August monthly DLG contest. All proceeds and donations will go to the Wounded Warrior Project AND TPG will match all proceeds up to a total of $250 for this fundraiser.
Please join us on August 15 at TPG’s very own Poway Field to celebrate National Model Aviation Day, support the Wounded Warrior Foundation, and enjoy some DLG competition!!!
