Club Meetings

The Torrey Pines Gulls hosts bi-monthly meetings via zoom throughout the year. These meetings began in 2021 out of the need to continue meeting as a club during the Covid-19 pandemic. However, they have continued on, helping to bring the club together. Each meeting usually reviews the upcoming calendar of events and features a speaker on an interesting topic of interest to RC soaring or flight in general. Meetings are open to the public but club membership is encouraged.

As former Chief Engineer at Lockheed Martin Skunk Works, Mike Swanson’s presentation will focus on how the Skunk Works executes programs, including recent examples, and how the team fosters a culture of innovation to be successful.
